Faraday's Law Calculator
The voltage a changing magnetic field induces in a coil.
The law behind every generator
e = -N × ΔΦ / Δt
Change the magnetic flux through a coil and each turn contributes voltage; more turns or faster change means more volts. The minus sign (Lenz's law) says the induced current always opposes the change causing it, which is why generators resist being turned under load and why magnets fall slowly through copper pipes. This one equation runs power stations, transformers, induction hobs and electric guitar pickups.
