About calciz

calciz is a collection of fast, free online calculators for finance, health, math and dates, with more being added all the time. There are no accounts, no paywalls and no 'premium' versions: type your numbers, get your answer.

How it works

Every calculator is written in C and compiled to WebAssembly. When you open a page your browser downloads one tiny module (a few kilobytes, cached across all pages) and runs the math locally. That's why results appear as you type, why the site works on slow connections, and why your inputs never leave your device. There is no server doing the calculating.

Accuracy

Formulas are documented on every page, with sources where relevant (WHO ranges, Mifflin-St Jeor, US Navy method, standard amortization). Health results are informational estimates, not medical advice.
